Wallets
Keep the crypto addresses where your coins land handy, so buying is one tap faster.
Think of a wallet in Criptala as a saved cryptocurrency address — the receiving address on a specific blockchain network where your crypto lands when you buy. Save an address once under Wallets, and next time you can just pick it from the list instead of pasting it in again.
You'll find the screen under Wallets — "Manage your cryptocurrency wallets."
Some wallets get created automatically for a subscription-based product (for example, an Interactive Brokers deposit subscription). Those won't show up in this list — Criptala looks after them behind the scenes, just for that product.
Your wallet list
Each saved wallet shows three columns:

- Looking for a specific one? Use the Search by address or name box — it checks both the address and the name, and filters the list as you type.
- Select Add wallet to open the panel and save a new address.
- Select any row to open that wallet and edit it.
- Got a long list? Page through it with the Previous/Next controls.
Add a wallet
Select Add wallet to open the panel — "Connect your wallet to your current profile." — and fill in a few fields:
Name (optional) — a friendly label so you can tell this wallet apart later. "An identifiable name for the wallet."
Network (required) — pick the blockchain network from the list (each option shows its name and logo). Important: it must match the network your address was generated on.
Address (required) — paste your receiving address.
Binance Pay addresses
If you pick the Binance Pay network, an extra note pops up: "The address must be a valid Binance ID." For this one, enter your Binance ID — not a blockchain address.
Select Save. You'll get a "Saved" confirmation toast, and the wallet shows up in your list right away.
Editing or deleting a wallet
Select any wallet in the list to open the Edit wallet panel (this screen doesn't show a subtitle). You can change the same Name, Network, and Address fields we covered above.
Update the fields you need, then select Save. You'll see the "Saved" confirmation, and the list refreshes on its own.
Want to remove it instead? Select Delete and confirm. If the wallet can be removed, you'll see a "Deleted" confirmation.
A wallet linked to a subscription can't always be deleted
If a wallet is still tied to a product subscription that's Active, Paused, or Auto-paused, the delete won't go through, and you'll see:
- Title: "We couldn't delete this wallet."
- Description: "It's still linked to an active or paused subscription. Cancel or update the subscription first, then try again."
The fix: head to your investments, cancel or point the subscription at another wallet, then come back and delete this one. If the only subscription using it is already Cancelled, Criptala unlinks it for you and the deletion goes through.
If the delete still fails for another reason (the address is used somewhere else on your account), you'll see: "It's still linked to other activity on your account. Remove those links and try again."

One address, one registration — system-wide
This isn't just about your own wallets or the profiles linked to you: any given address can only live on one Criptala profile, anywhere. So if someone else already saved that address, you'll get the "already been taken" error above instead of a duplicate row — even though it wasn't you.
Keeping your funds safe
Sending crypto to the wrong network can leave the funds lost and impossible to recover. It's worth a moment's care — and Criptala helps you get it right in a few ways:
Always match the address to the network
Double-check that the Network you pick is the same one your address was generated on. Criptala validates the address format for networks it recognizes, but here's the catch: an address that's perfectly valid on the wrong network can still lose your funds for good, and the format check can't catch that.
Automatic security screening
Every address you save gets checked automatically for fraud/blacklist risk right after you save it (and again any time you change an existing wallet's address). This runs quietly in the background — saving the wallet always works and shows the usual "Saved" confirmation, whether or not the address clears the check.
If an address doesn't clear it, Criptala may add it to an internal watchlist and move your profile's status to "Review needed", even though the save itself looked fine. So if your account status changes out of the blue after you add a wallet, this screening is the likely reason — reach out to support if you have questions.
"The address is not currently available."
You won't run into this one on the Wallets screen itself. It shows up if you type a new receiving address directly while buying crypto, instead of picking a saved wallet, and that address doesn't clear the same security screening. When that happens, checkout stops right there and you'll need to use a different address. If you think it's a mistake, contact support.
